Close to home
It’s on headlines all over the web today that Pat Tillman, a football player who gave up millions of dollars in a potential contract in order to serve in the Army, was killed in Afghanistan.
He was from my city and had gone to my high school. One of his younger brothers was in my class. The San Jose Mercury News has a different story than the AP one with more details, but it requires registration.
