I was just driving home from work down the expressway in the left lane. The minivan in front of me starts slowing down and then stops for some reason. Then I see a little white dog in the median about to cross the street into heavy traffic. The two lanes to my right keep flowing quite quickly not knowing there is a dog there. He starts crossing the street right in front of the minivan that has stopped. The little red sports car zipping down the middle lane doesn’t see him. Poor little dog. It was pretty sad to watch, I honked my horn as I saw the car approaching, but it was way too late by that point. The woman driving was pretty shocked too. She pulled over shortly afterwards and was sitting on the side of the road with her hand over her mouth with her young teenage daughter in the passenger seat. Poor little dog.
