Have a good what?
This post was inspired by Kirsten who made me recognize the frequency of this occurance. Do you ever notice how people at businesses greet you fairwell by saying, “Have a good one”? I hear this multiple times a day when I am out doing things. I just got off the phone with Verizon and the guy told me to “Have a good one”. But what exactly do they mean? If someone serves me a sandwich and they say it, I may interpret it as have a good meal. Or if I’m renting a movie, it could mean have a good movie watching time. But what about at the supermarket if I’m buying toilet paper? Have a good shit?
Specifics people, ambiguity can lead to much confusion. At least on my part because I think too much.
