Put tape in and push play.
My job consisted of playing a video today. Sometimes days like that are very boring, but sometimes I am quite good at remaining occupied. Today was nice because a new issue of PC Magazine came yesterday.
I could tell that the teacher I was in for today had a very relaxed classroom atmosphere normally. I find that kids whose classes are usually like that behave a little bit better for me as a sub than those kids whose teachers try to have a stricter classroom because with a sub, these later kids are going to try and get away with more. They were all generally well behaved during the movie, but also, it wasn’t crucial for them to be paying careful attention so they talked a little and whatnot, but I didn’t care.
Things I read today:
PC Magazine: May 10, 2005 issue, interesting articles/features on: pharming, printing digital pictures, online comparison shopping, business scanners
Faith and Liberty chapter 5, “The Theory of Money”

Germany to report. It was from the forums for Gentoo Linux. I should try messing with that again. Getting my screen resolution correct and the refresh rate set for my monitor is the biggest hang up. So sad that that is the only thing preventing me from playing with Linux.
